Jason Meador serves as Chief Underwriting Officer at ParetoHealth, where he leads the underwriting strategy behind the industry’s strongest stop-loss solution. With a career spanning over two decades, Jason brings deep expertise in risk management, captives, and complex underwriting structures. Prior to joining Pareto, he led several business units at Zurich North America, including group captives, and held senior roles including Chief Operating Officer for Alternative Markets and Head of Strategic Execution. His background also includes strategy consulting with The Boston Consulting Group, giving him a unique ability to scale underwriting operations while staying grounded in data and client outcomes.

At ParetoHealth, Jason is focused on advancing underwriting excellence to support a growing community of thousands of Members and their consultants. He plays a key role in strengthening Pareto’s Risk Shield—helping deliver predictable costs, eliminate volatility, and protect midsize employers from the rising threat of catastrophic claims. Known for his strategic mindset and collaborative leadership, Jason is driven by a mission to build a better healthcare experience for employers, employees, and the consultants who serve them.
